What Is Auto Repair Manager?

Auto Repair Manager (A.R.M.) is a complete shop management system for the auto repair and maintenance industry. It's used by a broad spectrum of stores — its features can be simplified for quick lube operations and expanded to accommodate full-service auto repair shops.

A.R.M. includes estimate and invoice generation, integration with CARFAX and Motor Information Systems, a Digital Inspection Form that communicates with customers via text and email, QR Code Check-In that reduces estimate generation to under a minute, full inventory control with parts tracking and low stock alerts, integration with PartsTech, AutoOps, QuickBooks, and many more — plus gift card issuance, review generation, and numerous other features.

A.R.M. was developed by a team of software engineers, people with over 150 combined years of experience in the auto repair and maintenance industry, and user interface design specialists — so that the solution is practical and easy for staff in the auto repair business to understand and use.

From Desktop to Cloud

A.R.M. has been around since 2000, when it started as desktop software. It was initially developed by its founders for use in the 60+ stores they owned and operated — because the other software solutions available at the time were not secure enough, did not have the reports the founders required, and were not easily understood by store staff.

In 2019, A.R.M. was converted to a cloud-based platform to allow users to access their system and data from any part of the world, safeguard against data loss from hard drive crashes and failures, enable integration with third-party software solutions, and unlock the development of features that were not possible on the desktop version.
